DMS leases and manages orchards on a long-term basis and has some innovative lease arrangements established, where orchard owners can take a much lower risk by leasing their orchards.

DMS organizes all of the export logistics in conjunction with its supply chain manager, G3, which was formed in 2009 with a group of three significant post-harvest operators. The key role of G3 is the contract and management of the supply of Kiwifruit to the marketer on behalf of the supply entities and their growers. This includes the provision of contract negotiation, packaging allocation, delivery allocation, inventory management, and logistic (port and transport) services.

G3 was the largest supply chain manager in 2009, handling more than 20% of industry volume and achieving superior performance results across all its supply functions.
